How can UX support sustainable development?
The question postulates UX as a force for good. Let’s think, for example, of the traffic turnaround. UX is directly involved in making the use of alternative forms of mobility as simple as possible. For example, making driving and paying/ticketing for public transport a seamless experience or process, so that the necessary secondary use case (I have to buy a ticket) does not become an obstacle to the primary use case (I want to get to my destination by public transport)..
How can UX itself become sustainable?
User experience has its own responsibility. Even if the boundaries to the tasks of development and operations are blurred here, UX can always ask itself about the consequences of its own actions.
How can a UX-person act sustainably?
So beyond the usual decisions that you can make as a citizen and consumer in general… Contribute, participate in the discussion. This is possible in associations, parties and at conferences..
